This is an extension of Tour 4 as we enter the Namibian Caprivi. We will look at highlights from a Special preaching campaign. We will get to interview some and learn how they feel about getting out of their comfort zone and being willing to make personal sacrifices and doing something they have never done to further kingdom good news. It will show and share experiences of preaching to the lovely people along stretches of the Chobe River bordering Botswana and Namibia. Preaching to villages that lie in a floodplain between the mighty Zambezi River and the Chobe River. Many would love to go on a live actual safari but due to various circumstances such as age, infirmities and very high prices it is just not possible to do so this side of the new world. Therefore we have put together a little taste of what it would be like to go on a live safari. There are various types of safari drives. Day drives, morning only drives and evening only drives. These are all done by experienced qualified guides in an open top vehicle. Most safari drives are offered by organized tour group companies which are incredible and enjoyable. However it comes at a high price. Then there is a self-drive option. On this safari we will take you as our guests on a drive through the central part of the Kruger National Park. Get your hats and binoculars and be our guests as we take a drive and see what we can find in one of Africa’s most pristine national parks. What is nice about a self-drive is you in control and can stop when and where you want for as long as you want. Compared with an organized drive which is somewhat bound by time and more formal. Don’t get me wrong organized safaris are amazing, entertaining and educational.

On a regular safari drive you are bound to a vehicle and limited to what you can see. On a safari drive you are on the lookout for any movement and it is usually larger animals. On a walking safari you become one with the bush. You really get a feel for where the animals live. You hear various sounds. There is a danger factor but that is why you have 2 trained armed guides with you as you track down the animals. Being on foot does has its disadvantages as you cannot get as close to the animals as you would when in a vehicle. Long before you even spot the animals when on foot they have run off. What really impressed us about the bush walk was the tiny little things you see which you do not even know exists, things only see when walking in that specific area. We want to share but a few of the highlights of a walk in the bush and get a taste of what the new world could be like walking in the bush.
